First, we would like to formally welcome you as a partner of World Thrombosis Day. We appreciate your support and look forward to working alongside you to generate awareness of thrombosis, the single cause of the top three cardiovascular deaths worldwide. World Thrombosis Day, on October 13, is the perfect opportunity to collaborate around the world in the united effort to reduce the burden from thrombosis and start an important global conversation.
Our first public announcement will be on Tuesday, March 25 at 12:00 GMT via a news release that we will distribute to journalists, media organizations and bloggers globally. We have attached the release for you to review and to share as you deem appropriate after the news release embargo lifts on Tuesday, March 25 at 12:01 AM GMT. As a partner in the promotion of World Thrombosis Day, we encourage you to share the release (ideally translated into the language spoken in your countries) via your website, social media, blogs, newsletters and/or even with members of your local media; however, we kindly ask you to adhere to the embargo.
